Help Give 100+ Homeless And Orphaned Children A Better Future
They Deserve Love, Food, and a Future

A few months ago, outside our shelter home, we came across a sight that no human being should ever witness. A six-month-old baby had been abandoned in a dustbin—left alone, without care, without protection, without hope. In that moment, we did not see a burden; we saw a life that deserved to be saved. We brought her in, held her, fed her, and chose to raise her as our own. Today, she is safe, growing, and surrounded by love. Her story is painful, but it is also a reminder of what compassion can do when someone chooses to act. But her story is not an exception. It reflects a much larger and harsher reality. There are countless children who are denied the very essence of childhood. While some children spend their days playing, learning, and dreaming, others are forced to beg on the streets, pick through garbage for survival, and sleep on empty stomachs. These children are not given a chance to be children. Their innocence is replaced by struggle far too early, and their future becomes uncertain before it even begins.
Every day, we provide food to 105 children.
My name is Shashikanth Patil, and for us, this is not just service—it is responsibility. The children who come to our shelter are not outsiders; they are part of our family. They look at us not as caretakers, but as parents. We take that trust seriously. Every child who walks through our doors is given care, protection, and most importantly, a sense of belonging. We try to give them what they have lost—love, stability, and a chance at a better future.
We make sure that no child sleeps hungry. This is not just a routine for us; it is a commitment we honor every single day.
However, as more children come to us seeking shelter and support, the burden on our resources continues to grow. The number of mouths to feed is increasing, but our means are limited. There are days when arranging groceries becomes a challenge. At times, we have no option but to borrow essential items from nearby shops just to ensure that the children do not miss a meal. These are difficult moments, but we push through them because the children depend on us.
Today, we are reaching out for your support.
We urgently need basic groceries such as dal, rice, atta, sugar, cooking oil, and vegetables—simple necessities that make a world of difference in a child’s life. Your contribution is not just about food; it is about dignity, care, and survival. It ensures that a child does not go to bed hungry, that they wake up with energy, and that they continue to believe in a better tomorrow.
There is nothing greater than serving a child in need.
We are doing everything we can to uphold this mission, but we cannot do it alone. With your support, we can continue to provide these children with the care they deserve and ensure that no child under our roof is left hungry. We invite you to stand with us, to be a part of this journey, and to help us give these children not just food, but a future.
